'80s Toy Brick Phone

Toy Brick Phone (new old stock).

Measures 18cm high x 4cm wide x 6cm deep. Antenna is 13cm long. Takes 2 x AA batteries (not supplied). Weight of package is 125g.

These toy phones are "new old stock" and were made in 1991. The screen is only a sticker, but the buttons make various noises when pressed - ringing tone, engaged tone, plain tone etc. They are quite loud, so probably not suitable for children.

This phone would be perfect for a fancy dress party or theatre prop or just for fun. As these are old stock, the boxes have wear from storage, but the "phones" are as new and tested. Email us if you need more than one and we can give you any postage discount available.

Price each is £15 including delivery to anywhere in the world.

Inflatable Brick Phone

These are huge inflatable brick type phones, available in blue and pink.

They are 76cm tall and weigh 100g when flat. They are from old stock, but are new and sealed in their polythene bags.

They have a rigid card base, so will stand up on their own and they have an eyelet at the top so that they could be hung from a ceiling.

Price is £5 including delivery to anywhere in the world. Just use the Buy Now button under the colour you want. Email us if you need larger quantities.

C&A Calculator

C&A Calculator.

Measures 20cm high x 5.5cm wide x 5cm deep. Antenna is 11.5cm long. Weight of package is 215g.

This calculator/pencil case is in as new condition and looks never to have been used, although the box is tatty. We put a new battery in it and it does power up, but the screen is faulty (see 5th photo). Wouls look great in any collection of vintage mobile phones.

Price is £19 including delivery to anywhere in the world.

Gakken EX-100

Gakken EX-100 made in the late 1970s. Serial No - 0181394.

Box measures 34cm x 29cm x 7cm. Weight of package is 1kg.

This Electronic Experimentor Kit was made by the famous Gakken Company. It is a kit where you "learn by doing - build 100 working projects - transistor radio - wireless microphone - audio generator - no wiring - no soldering - battery operated"

There were many of these Electronic Kits around in the 70s & 80s, but the Gakken kit was different from the others, in that instead of using lots of wires to make the curcuits, pre-wired blocks are slotted into the correct place. Hours of fun and educational too!

We have powered the kit up and done some of the experiments. The kit is in very good condition, looks to be complete and everything seemed to work, but as we have not done all 100 experiments, we cannot guarantee this. The kit requires 4 x AA batteries (not supplied).

Price is £39 including delivery to anywhere in the world by registered post.

Gakken GT-04

Gakken Walkie Talkie GT-04

Box measures 21cm x 14cm x 4cm. Walkie Talkies are 16cm high x 5cm wide x 2.5cm deep. Antenna is 90cm long. Weight of package is 0.3kg.

We think that these rare Gakken Walkie Talkies were made in the 1980s, although we are not sure. They are in excellent condition and look to have only been used once or twice. The box has some wear and has writing on it. The polystyrene insert is tatty. They take 9v batteries (not supplied) and worked perfectly when we tested them. They are guaranteed to work for 30 days from delivery. See
The Smallprint for details.

Price is £29 including delivery to anywhere in the world by registered post.

Science Fair 100 in 1

Science Fair 100 in 1 Electronic Project Kit made in the early 1970s. Catalogue No - 28-220.

Box measures 46cm x 29cm x 6cm. Weight of package is 1.8kg.

This educational toy was made by Radio Shack/Tandy and the instructional manual is dated 1972. It can be used to "Build Radios - Amplifiers - Code Oscillators - Relays - Computer Circuits" and "Features Space-Age Intergrated Circuit"

The circuit board is mounted in a wooden frame and is in very good condition. The box lid is worn, as is the instruction manual. This kit uses 2 x AA and 1 x 9v batteries (not supplied). We did some of the experiments and everything worked and it looks like all the accessories are present, but as we did not do all 100 experiments, we cannot guarantee this.

Price is £39 including delivery to anywhere in the world by registered post.

Radio Shack/Tandy Armatron

Radio Shack/Tandy Armatron Robot Arm made in the 1980s.

The unit measures approx 18cm high (with the arm at its lowest point) x 22cm x 16cm. Weight of unit is 1.05kg. Takes 2 x D size batteries (not supplied).

This 1980s toy was very sought after at the time. It is very good used condition, with no damage, except to the black corrugated tubing. The arm can be manoevered in almost every direction, then the claw can be rotated and opened/closed to pick up objects. There is an energy level/timer, so you can race to complete a task against the clock. We tested the arm fully and everything worked as it should. These robot arms are quite noisy and can be a little jumpy, but they were like that when they were brand new.

Hours of fun from this fantastic toy, which is guaranteed to work for 14 days from delivery. See
The Smallprint for details.

Price is £49 including delivery to anywhere in the world by registered post.
